What is the course registration process?
- Presentation of course & financing options
- Level, needs and professional objectives analysis and information form
- Choice of package according to level, needs, professional objectives, availability and personal situation
- Preparation of training fund dossier if required : contract, programme, timetable etc.
- Course convocation notice sent – Start of course
- First day : arrive 5 minutes before the start of your lesson – trainer introduction
- Course material is provided by your trainer throughout the course
- Depending on package choice, e-learning platform registration information sent by email
- Lesson changes / cancellation must be done 48 hours before the lesson – No shows and last minute cancellations are lost
- During the 5th lesson, “Stop-Start-Continue” assessment to check the course meets the objectives set
- Halfway through the course, satisfaction questionnaire sent by email – to ensure the course meets expectations and suits level and professional objectives
- At the end of a CPF course, registration information for the CLOE Certificate will be sent by email
- At the end of all courses, satisfaction questionnaire sent by email
What is the CLOE Certification, the mandatory exam for all CPF financed courses?
C.L.O.E. is a French acronym for Oral and Written Language Skills = Compétences Linguistiques Orales & Ecrites
The CLOE Certification is an exam by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), registered with the “Specific Register” (RS) which is managed by France Competences, a French public institution responsible for regulating professional training and certifications. Their RS registration numbers are the following:
The CLOE exam is completed in two parts, remotely, at the end of the course:
- First part (online with asynchronous monitoring): a 50-question adaptive questionnaire designed to measure one’s ability to:
- Identify and use every day or professional vocabulary adapted to the situation
- Master the main grammatical structures needed to construct coherent sentences of varying complexity
- Identify and use expressions from every day or professional life
- Understand a short text and identify its overall meaning and specific details
- Understand a statement, instructions or questions from an interlocutor who speaks the target language
- Second part (oral interview via videoconference): By appointment, this evaluation includes a conversation, one or more professional scenarios, and a discussion around a professional theme or specific to the candidate’s industry. This interview measures the ability to:
- Use common or professional vocabulary adapted to the communication situation
- Master the main grammatical structures necessary to construct coherent sentences of varying complexity
- Naturally communicate orally
- Be understood with clear pronunciation
- Develop interaction and dialogue
