Practice makes perfect so imagine what using your French everyday for a week could do!
The Avancée Intensive Courses are designed to help students engage with the language each day for five days, thereby helping the memory. The other half of the day, you’re free to go and practise outside of the classroom and have fun in our beautiful Vallée du Giffre.
Intensive courses work just as well for holiday makers who want to add a cultural aspect to their holiday in France, as for local residents who like to assign a particular time in the year to focus on improving their skills.
The contents vary each week and Avancée Teachers break the week down by mixing speaking tasks with listening, reading, cultural insights and writing – when requested. Time flies in our classrooms!
How Does it Work?
- Courses are available Winter & Summer
Morning classes in the summer, late afternoon in the Winter. - Lessons planned around your needs
On Monday, lessons typically focus on getting to know each other and fixing a common objective for the week. - Varied lesson topics
We work to make learning fun, that means using a wide range of subjects to study and discuss. Contents are constantly updated. - Small same level groups
Each Avancée student completes a language assessment prior to the course. We ensure our students are placed in the right group so that the pace is right. - Avancée Intensive Courses and Training Budgets
You may be able to finance your course via a government training scheme if you work for a French company, or run your own French registered business, including micro/auto-entrepeneurs. Find out about training budgets here.
