Overview
Regular practice is key to language learning, that’s why we’ve designed the Avancée Weekly Courses.
Avancée Weekly Courses are designed to help students engage with the language weekly, thereby keeping regular momentum. For the rest of the week, students will be assigned homework to reinforce class time learnings. Of course, practising outside the classroom while enjoying our beautiful Vallée du Giffre is also constructive!
Weekly group Courses work just as well for local residents who work and have limited time in the week as for long stayers.
The contents vary for each course and Avancée Teachers break down the 15 hours by mixing speaking tasks with listenings, readings, pronunciation tips and writing – when requested. We keeps things fresh!
How Does it Work?
- Year round courses
Typically 10 week courses (90min/week) run in Spring & Autumn, 5 week courses (2x90min/week) in Summer & Winter. See the schedule. - Lessons to meet your needs
The 1st lesson typically focusses on getting to know each other and fixing a common objective. The teacher then creates the course programme. - Varied lesson topics
We work hard to make learning fun, that means using a wide range of subjects to study and discuss. Contents are constantly updated. - Small same level groups
Each Avancée student completes a language assessment prior to the course. We ensure our students are placed in the right group so that the pace is right. - Avancée Weekly Courses and Training Budgets
