Overview
Online Private lessons are a great way to keep working on your French year-round when not able to travel to school on a regular basis.
Lessons take place on a video conferencing platform, which includes tools such as whiteboard, chat box and screen sharing which makes online learning really manageable. As for face to face lessons, they are planned according to your needs and objectives and follow your pace. You also get the teacher’s undivided attention!
Schedules are flexible to match your availability which means they don’t have to take place at the same time each week.
If you’re in the valley for only short periods at a time, you can take face to face lessons while you’re here and revert to online lessons when you’re not!

You may be able to finance your online private lessons thanks to a government training scheme if you work for a French company, or run your own French registered business, including micro/auto-entrepeneurs.

- 65€ / hour
- 930€ for a set of 15h (max 3 month timetable = 1/3 level)
- 1820€ for a set of 30h (max 6 month timetable = 2/3 level)
- 2650€ for a set of 45h (max 6 month timetable = 3/3 level)
- e-learning platform: 1 month 25€ ; 6 months 120€

Onto the lessons themselves - I was lucky to have a good teacher and engaged class so I felt I progressed really well. The teacher encouraged interaction and so it felt more like a discussion than too much "chalk and talk". I also did some 1:1s which put me a little out of my comfort zone but allowed me to work on elements I specifically needed.
